How to Setup, Enable fingerprint Lock Feature on Android

WhatsApp has officially rolled out the fingerprint unlock feature for all the Android users.We till now using third party applications to setup lock to whatsapp but we can now use official whatsapp fingerprint lock.

Although this feature  has been available on iOS and android Beta user for quite some time, the feature is now  made available for all Android users.

Whatsapp becomes integral part of life and nobody wants to see chats and important messages by others so this will extra level of security This will protect users from getting hacked or snooped.

Users will able to access chats by using their fingerprint however one still reply to messages from the notification and answer calls even when the app is locked.

Users have option delay the fingerprint lock for sometime for avoiding it getting locked instantly or frequently.

You can delay fingerprint lock by 1 minute and by 30 minutes.

How to Setup, Enable fingerprint Lock Feature on Android :

Step 1 : Open Whatsapp and click on 3 vertical dots at right top corner.

Step 2 : Go to settings > account > privacy > Fingerprint lock.

Step 3  : then enable unlock with fingerprint.

Step 4 : then setup your fingerprint.

Step 5 : You can Select the automatic lock time span as — Immediately, 

            

             After 1 minute, and After 30 minutes.

Step 6 : You can also choose if you want to show the message content and 

             sender in the notifications or not.

That's it your fingerprint lock is activated
